Στοίχοι: Holding Onto Hope. Dust.
:
For my days vanish like smoke
My bones burn like glowing embers
My heart is blinded and withered like grass
I forget to eat my food
Because of my loud groaning's I am reduced to skin and bones
Im like a desert owl, like an owl amoung the ruins
I lye awake.
All day long my enemies taunt me.
But those who rail against me, use my name as a curse
Hear my prayer O Lord
Let my cry for help come to you
Do not hide your face from me when i am in distress
Turn ear to me when i call, answer me quickly
For i eat ashes
Because of your great wrath
For you have taken me up
My days are like the evening shadow, i wither like the Grass
The Lord is compassionate and gracious
Slow to anger abounding in Love
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor His anger forever
He does not treat us according as our sins deserve
Or repay us according to our antiquities.
For as high as the heaven is above the earth.
So great as his love for those that fear Him
As far as the east is from the west
So far as he removed our transgressions from us
As a father has compassion on his children
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear him
For he knows that we are poor, he remembers that we are DUST!
