Where the time signature is missing the signature within square brackets is assumed from the context. The coloured notes groups containing minims are in “proportio sesquialtera”. 3 vs. , the other ones are “hemiolæ”. In the Christe the section beginning with the number “3” is in “proportio sesquialtera”. 3 vs. , The notes’ values within the “ligaturæ” are as follows. the left upstemmed notes are semibreves – the unstemmed notes are breves – the right downstemmed notes are longæ.
